On our last day of practice before Thanksgiving break, we asked the group to take turns sharing what they were thankful for. They provided a variety of thoughtful answers, but the one that struck a chord was when Rona (a wise-beyond-her-years fifth grader) said, "I'm thankful for the opportunities I'm given." Like Rona, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be a part of her journey.
